The SpinMAT microscope sides are particularly designed for working with popular automated cytology slide preparation systems of centrifugation mechanism on the market, e.g. the Thermo Shandon® Cytospin® and etc. These slides feature one light-color frosted area for specimen identification & tracking, and wettable wells/chambers of different layout imprintings by an extremely hydrophobic ink. The extremely hydrophobic ink printing enables a controlled distribution of cells in the defined area(s). Black/Blue mask printing on the opposite side is also available for filtering out UV light and ensuring that only specimens in the defined area(s) can be viewed under microscopy. Microscope slides with these filters are also ideal for immunofluorescence tests.
